According to various sources the WNBA will announce that Candace Parker will be named the league's Rookie Of The Year and the leagues Most Valuable Player as well. Parker has been a very good player so far in her first season in the WNBA. She has really set the bar high and has drawn many great reviews.

The WNBA need many more players like Parker so they can drawn upon a wider audience than they have right now. Many great players will be coming out of college soon which should help this league. I like watching the WNBA, but it does need more players like Parker in it for it to really grow.
