The Oklahoma City Thunder know that they will need to make some changes as they cannot afford to let Dirk Nowitzki have a game like he did in the opener. If they do the Mavericks will have a 2-0 series lead. One adjustment that the Thunder should make is getting the ball out of his hands. You do not want Dirk to beat you again. Make someone else on the Mavericks hit the shots. When Dirk gets the ball the Thunder needs to trap him right away. This will give them the best chance of stealing game two from the Mavericks.
Kevin Durant will need to have another great game if they hope to get a win. Russell Westbrook also needs to show up and play well. The Thunder cannot expect Durant to do it all for them. He needs some help, and if he does not get it the series will be a short one for the Thunder. Dallas has the talent to sweep the Thunder, so this is a game the Thunder need to play well and a win would be icing on the cake.
